The crèche provider will then provide toys and activities to keep the children happy for a few hours. Toys should be age-appropriate and should cater for the age-range of the children attending. Staff on duty should be qualified in childcare (usually Nursery Nursing) and a good crèche provider should have a first aider on duty.

Typically a wedding crèche commences when guests arrive at the reception and runs throughout the wedding breakfast and speeches, usually running for about 3 hours.
